Department of Environmental Affairs own, amongst other equipment, three PK25000 Palfinger cranes with winches that are mounted on Caterpillar D6H machines.  The equipment is operating in Antarctica where it works under extreme cold and weather conditions.  Independent Cranes repairs and service these cranes for the past few years
